Extreme Measures Fish & Dive Charters is based at Apia Marina on the north coast of Upolu, Samoa.

Your skipper Jonathan Barlow is committed to providing the best fishing, diving opportunities and customer satisfaction. Jonathan has the reputation for putting in the extra effort to make your trip a success, and a most enjoyable experience.

Jonathan has fished, dived, speared and surfed the east and west coasts of Northland, New Zealand for the past 30 years. In this time he has experienced many of Northland’s best kept secrets – tranquil bays, deep water reefs, and the mighty west coast.

In recent years Jonathan has visited Samoa on many occasions and he saw the potential of Samoa to be the next fish & dive location in the Pacific. Samoa offers warm waters, fantastic climate and year-round fishing for all pelagic species.

There are not many secrets left in the world these days and Samoa is just starting to be truly discovered as an exciting game fishing & holiday destination.

Our Vessel

Extreme Measures is a purpose built 43ft alloy cat designed for fishing and diving – powered by twin 300hp V8 Yamaha 4-stroke outboards which are extremely smooth, quiet and FAST! She is equipped with the latest Simrad electronics and all MSA safety equipment.

The design of this vessel offers excellent stability and protection from the elements – a spacious cabin, fishing cockpit, toilet and hot shower makes for a very comfortable day out. Ideally suited for eight to ten people day fishing at any one time. She is in safe ship management and currently in survey for 16 people.

Extreme Measures is ideal for a full day fish and dive charter, or a fun day sightseeing out with family and friends. We will also be specialising in four and five-day charters.
